How I'd Plan MP Board Class 10 Revision Using the Official Blueprint
A practical walkthrough of the MP Board Class 10 2027 blueprint — chapter-wise marks for every subject — and how to actually turn it into a revision order instead of just reading the numbers.
Every June, I get some version of the same message from parents in my counselling practice: "He's studying every day, but I don't think it's the right chapters." Almost always, the student is working through the textbook front to back, giving the same time to a 4-mark chapter as an 8-mark one, simply because that's the order the book presents them in.
The blueprint MPBSE publishes fixes exactly this problem, but almost nobody actually uses it to plan — they glance at it once and go back to reading page by page. Below is the full 2027 blueprint for every Class 10 subject, and after it, how I'd actually turn it into a week-by-week plan if it were my own child studying for this exam.
The Numbers First
Mathematics (75 marks theory)
Trigonometry and Triangles/Coordinate Geometry between them account for 24 of the 75 marks — nearly a third of the paper concentrated in two related areas.

Social Science (80 marks) — split evenly, 20 marks each across History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. No shortcuts here; all four sections carry equal weight.
Hindi (75 marks) — Prose 25, Poetry 20, Grammar 20, Writing 10.
English (75 marks) — Reading Comprehension 15, Writing Skills 15, Grammar 20, Literature 25.
What I'd Actually Do With These Numbers
Here's the thing most students get backwards: they treat the blueprint as a reading order, when it should really shape a rotation.
If I were building this plan, I wouldn't tell a student to finish Maths and then start Science. I'd have them working on Trigonometry in the morning and Chemical Substances in the evening, same day, because that's closer to what exam week actually demands of your brain — switching between subjects, not staying immersed in one.
Second thing: rank by marks-per-topic, not marks-per-page. A 12-mark unit crammed into two textbook chapters deserves more daily minutes than a 5-mark unit spread across three chapters, even though the second one physically looks bigger when you flip through the book.
Third: the moment you finish a blueprint unit, go find last year's paper and solve just that unit's questions. Not next week. Same day. This is the single biggest gap I see — students who can recite a concept perfectly but have never actually answered an MPBSE-style question on it, and the phrasing catches them off guard on exam day.
And save your last week for weak spots only. By then you should already trust your strong units completely — that week belongs to whatever's still shaky, not a general review of everything.

After the Exam: Checking Your Result
Results are usually out on mpbse.nic.in or mpresults.nic.in in April or May.
Website: search "MP Board 10th Result 2027," enter roll number and date of birth, download.
SMS: text MPBSE10 <Roll Number> to 56263.
DigiLocker: search MPBSE within the app, enter your roll number, download the official marksheet.
If a student clears everything, the original marksheet arrives from school around June or July. One failed subject means a compartment exam in July. Two or more, and it's an improvement attempt the following year. Rechecking or revaluation applications go through the school within 15 days, and cost somewhere between ₹300–500 per subject.
One Last Thing
Parents sometimes ask me whether the blueprint changes meaningfully year to year, worried they're planning around stale numbers. In my experience watching this board for years, the shifts are small — a mark or two moving between units at most. Always cross-check the year's official PDF when it's released, but don't let that uncertainty stop you from planning now. The overall shape has held steady for a long time.
