Beyond that, each additional reading measurably improves recall speed specifically and reduces trap-question errors — because NEET frequently tests exact NCERT phrasing that only becomes truly automatic with genuine repeated exposure, not conceptual understanding alone. Where Trap Questions Cluster
They show up across both Botany and Zoology, but in my experience marking practice tests, Botany topics with overlapping terminology — different plant hormone functions, similar-sounding classification distinctions — produce slightly more trap-style errors than Zoology, where functional and visual distinctions tend to be clearer and less easily confused under time pressure.
